Munnar has given a new name to the sleepy hill stations of south India by mesmerizing the tourists with the stunning natural beauty of the place. Also known as the Kashmir of south India, the place is also known for its abundant spice and coffee plantations which make it a picture perfect destination for the tourists. Since Munnar is a hill station, it experiences cool weather throughout the year. Even in the summer months you will need some woolen clothes. The months from September to May are right for visiting Munnar. That means you just have to avoid the monsoons here otherwise you can visit Munnar throughout the rest of the year.
